Luke is 1 month away from being A YEAR OLD!!! What?!! How?
Hey Guys! Heads up…this is a long post:) + I feel like my words are all over the place. Oh well. Enjoy!
If you follow me on my Instagram or Youtube Channel you already know that for almost 2 months now my husband and I have been eating Plant Based.
If we had to choose which year has been the BEST..you all know we’d choose 2018. That’s when God chose to give us Luke. Ryan and I can’t even remember life before Luke haha! The other day Ryan had to go to a PNP Bible Study and he said the whole time he kept thinking about Luke. That’s how it is for us. I sometimes think “I just need a few hours without Luke to get stuff done, then when he’s not around I’m thinking WHAT IN THE WORLD DO I DO?”
Before Luke was born I did alot of praying, reading and seeking counsel. I wanted to know about natural health in raising my child. I did not want to raise him on medicine, and doctors visits.
Ryan made this high chair before Luke was even born-it needed a few things done to it though and he finished it awhile ago, just in time for Luke to sit in it😀
I read this quote the other day that has stuck with me since I read it.
“I don’t believe there are devils enough
in Hell to pull a child out of the arms of a GODLY MOTHER”
My hearts deepest desire is to raise my son for the Lord. I want Him to grow up and be exactly and do exactly what GOD wants him to do. I want to have a part in him growing up to love the Lord.
I thought it was so good I wanted to make it into something I could print out and hang on my wall to remind me of this HUGE AMAZING RESPONSIBILITY I’ve been given.
Every year we celebrate Thanksgiving together as a family and every year my Mom prepares the most amazing food. This year though us girls decided to surprise my parents and prepare Thanksgiving for them!! Every year my mom goes all out so we thought it would be fun this year to go all out and let her not worry about it.
Thankful to have my Dad another year! Definitely blessed to have the parents I do.
Every November at our church is FAMILY month. It’s honestly my favorite month at church! Even before I was married or had a kid I alwaysss loved hearing about marriage, raising children and anything to do with family.
When I found out I was pregnant I began to wonder so many things. Like “WHO IS HE GOING TO BE LIKE?” In our relationship I’m the outgoing one. I like to be crazy, meet new people, smile at everyone and talk, talk, talk. Ryan is super friendly but he’s alot more normal than me:) I often get told “you are crazy, Abie!” I am starting to think that side of me was definitely passed down to Luke. He is seriously so outgoing.
